Karen Sachiko Fujii North, of Stockton, CA, passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at the age of 67 in Palo Alto, CA after complications from surgery. She was born on April 2, 1953 in Linden, CA and enjoyed a long career in the United States Postal Service. She made countless friendships while in the Postal Service, and was hugely generous with her time and energy. She made a lasting impression on everyone she met with her infectious laugh and personality. In her spare time, Karen enjoyed catching up with friends and family, shopping, gardening, and reading. Every chance she got, Karen would also grab family and friends to travel out of town and hit up the slots at the casino.

Karen is survived by her husband, James; her son, Alex, and his wife, Patricia; and sister-in-law, Vicky Fujii, and her nieces, Kristen and Erin. She is preceded in death by her brother, Glen Fujii; and her parents, Ben and Kay Fujii.
