Karen Sue Najim 58, of Las Vegas Nevada tragically taken from us on January 22nd at North Vista Hospital from complications due to pnumonia. Born in 1962 in St. Petersburg, FL to Fred and Carol Najim, Karen graduated from Lakewood High School and attended the College of the Sequoias in Visalia, CA. After working in accounting for many years, Karen became a Technical Support Specialist for Dell, HP and Micron computers. Karen's last year was spent as a homeless citizen of Las Vegas, where she contracted the deadly infection that took her life. Karen is survived by two loving life partners Lawrence Buttram and Michael Helweg, both of Las Vegas NV, her mother Carol Riley of New Berlin NY, one sister Julie Alafa of Visilia CA, two brothers, Michael Najim of Hawaii and Bruce Riley of Pennsylvania, two daughters, Lauren Thornton of Las Vegas NV and Lindsay Haggie of Lexington KY, and two granddaughters Ayla and Kayori Haggie of Lexington KY. You will always be with us, Rest In Peace.
