I would like to thank everyone for the condolences. It means a lot to know that so many people cared about Karen. In all aspects of life, even her final hours, there was a brightness to her. She loved everyone she came in contact with. I hope we can meet again soon.

Karen Lynn Lanning, 57 of Chicago, IL went to be with our lord and savior on September 9th, 2020, after fighting a long battle with pancreatic cancer.

She was born on January 24th, 1963 to Erma Joyce Davis and Karl Davis at Community Hospital in Chicago, IL.

She graduated from DePaul University in 1987 with a bachelor's in Clinical Laboratory Science.

At this time there will be no funeral, as Karen wished to be cremated without a proper service. A "Celebration of Life" will be held at her home in Chicago, IL, for close family only. Thank you for your understanding.
