Ms. Karen’s  warm smile and beautiful energy will forever be remembered. I’m grateful for the memories over the years, including last October for breakfast with Ms. Karen and Payshia, a dear memory that I will carry with me. Sending love and hugs to her beautiful family and friends ❤️

I was a long time friend of Karen's dating back to grade school.  Although life has taken us in separate ways since the start of college, we remained connected via FB. We exchanged text messages throughout the years and talked about getting together but it didn't work out with our schedules. I was devastated to find out about her passing and could not believe it. I had no idea what she was going through and wished I would have.  We were on the 4-man relay at Elliot Jr. High and if I recall she was our anchor. She flew around that corner like no other! Whenever we did get together, it was as if we carried on where we left off.  While attending our 10-year reunion for the Class of '79, we danced the night away with our friends.  I so loved her and she was my gaurdian angel during that time when I was bullied at school.  She was like a sister to me and distance kept us apart, unfortunately.  I miss her so much!   She was a warm loving person and she will be grately missed. My deepest condolences to her family and close friends. See you later my sweet friend and I'll continue to hold you dear to my heart always and forever!
