Karen's obituary
Karen was preceded in death by her father, Otis Johnson, whom she held dearly in her heart. She is survived by her devoted mother, Mary Johnson, and her loving husband, Ennis Anderson III. Karen also leaves behind her brother, Rodney V. Johnson, and his wife Eunice; her sister, Daris Johnson; her children, Ennis Anderson IV and his wife Meredith, and Ennisia Anderson King and her husband Monterrio; as well as seven beautiful grandchildren Alyssa Anderson, Princeton King, Alivia King, Kelsey King, Elizabeth Jane Anderson, Amir Josiah King, and Ava Anderson. Her legacy also lives on through a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, and dear friends who cherished her deeply.
Karen’s greatest joy in life was being a mother. She embraced the role with warmth, dedication, and a love that knew no limits. Family gatherings were her sanctuary—moments of laughter, stories, and connection. She treasured every opportunity to spend time with those she loved, and she always spoke truth with love.
Karen also valued education. While getting her MBA, she looked for ways to give back to the community. After years in accounting, she decided to work in criminal justice to help those in the system improve their lives.
