Background
A Message from Karen's Daughter Brittany:
My mother raised me as a single parent, with limited resources and family support. She dedicated her life to making sure I was living the best life possible and that I was afforded every possible opportunity.
While I still have some work to do on the logistics, I would like to start a small charitable fund in honor of Karen and all she accomplished as a single parent for other families with similar situations in today's world.
This fund would aim to support single parent households with financial support for extracurricular actvities, scholarships, child care and/or special family outtings. I'd like to work with local organizations to make offerings to those that might beneifit in the community. This fund would jump start these philanthropic efforts and provide funding for the first year of gifts. Contribute
