In the teen years, I experienced the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity of living with and traveling 29 states and Canada with Karen and Darryl Hicks and a plethora of incredible musicians. This collaboration would result in stories that have grown in magnificence over the past decades. During this space in time, I learned from Karen how to properly tri-fold a bath towel (I still use this same method today), eat loads of tomato soup, never be afraid to re-write menu items, keep an immaculate house, and to always be up for an adventure! I will miss your laugh, Karen. And I am grateful for the years of adventures!
