Dear Kerry, Kim, Janice, Michael and family and love ones.  I first met Karen when she was 16 yrs old and dating my brother Kevin.   She was young and full of fun but I loss touch with her as the years passed but always stayed connected through my nieces Kerry and Kim.  My sincere condolences. Much love xoxo                                                      Auntie Marcia and Uncle Tom
Karen and I met each other many years ago when we both worked in the insurance claims industry; we became close friends over the years.  We had a lot of laughs while attending conferences; Karen had a wonderful sense of humour and a quick wit.  She loved to play pranks.  I frequently teased her when she sewed outfits for her dog, Cloe.  I recall one she called Cloe's "Steel Magnolia" costume which consisted of a sun dress and matching hat.   May you find peace, my friend, and remember always to dance, like no one is watching.

Karen was one of the best Section B adjuster’s in Nova Scotia in her day. Smart, diligent, efficient, empathic….with  great sense of humour

She was a dear friend and may she rest in peace.

I was so very saddened to hear this.  Your words certainly honour her, and the kindness she shared with whoever crossed her path.  I will always remember that smile and the beautiful soul she was.

Sending deepest condolences to you all.
