My third grade teacher! Love her so much and she called me by a nickname “kk”. I visited her recently during a field experience in east penn  and made sure she knew she was apart of the reason I became a teacher. Sending all my love
So very sorry for your loss, prayers for everyone
I was one of Mrs. Caiati's first students in 5th grade when she came to East Penn.. Fast forward years later, she was our daughters 3rd grade teacher.  I still have workbooks from her correcting my writing.  May she rest in paradise.  She was an amazing teacher and has made lasting impressions on many minds.
Your journey is completed.  Rest now with the Lord in his comforting arms.
We were so sadden when we heard the news of Karen's passing. Our thoughts and prayers go out to your whole family.
Carlo, Please accept my sincere condolences for your sudden and unexpected loss of your wife Karen.  May God be with you and your family during these difficult and life changing times.

Carlo, Ariana, and Alyssa,

I have been thinking about you and your family since I heard the news of Karen's passing.  I first met Karen in the 90's.  We taught together at Shoemaker School and were partners at Wescosville Elementary.  I will always remember Karen as a person of substance.  She was genuine, supportive, creative, and dedicated to her family and career.  Karen was a person you could trust and depend on.  Her laughter was contagious, and we got through some tough teaching times laughing about what we couldn't change.  Karen and I spent hours scrapbooking and exchanging family stories.  We used to regularly attend the Leesport Craft Fair.  On our way home we laughed so hard about what our husbands would say when they saw our purchases.  I feel extremely fortunate that Karen and I had a chance to catch up in June over lunch.  We picked up right where we left off.  She showed me the latest pictures of her girls and described how proud she was of them.  During this extremely difficult and challenging time, I will continue to reflect upon how Karen made a difference in the lives of so many.   Additionally, Carlo, Ariana, Alyssa, and family...I will be thinking about you (even when you don't know it) and the huge challenge of this loss.

I will forever celebrate and miss you, Karen!

Sending my deepest sympathies to Carlo and the girls. I am so very sorry for your sudden loss. Karen was such a kind, welcoming, and hardworking teacher. She will be greatly missed but forever remembered with lots of love!

Karen, Linda  and I were pregnant together.  Shoemaker had a baby shower for the three of us.  They had a race to see who could change a baby diaper the fastest.   Karen  was always a kind-hearted person who really loved teaching.  Your family is in my prayers.
My thoughts and prayers are with your family.  Karen will always be remembered as an amazing and dedicated educator as well as a wonderful person.
Mrs Ciati had both of my boys in elementary school. She was tough but so good for them.  They needed her. She was great. I am so sorry to her kids and family. Our hearts hurt. 😞 prayers are with the family.

So sadden to hear if Karen’s passing. She has taken her light to heaven.
