Well, I went to the movies about a week after my sister died. It was called Skyscraper. It was a tall building heldup by a hand with a pearl. This reminded me of Janus Joplins's last album and how much my sister was so fascinated by her singing. My eyes began to well and tears fell.
Best sister ever. The world is at a great loss.
Karen you will be greatly missed and I will miss our great conversations. Karen was such a beautiful person inside and out. She had a big heart and a carefree personality. You will be missed.. Rip❤️🌹

I’m so sorry about the passing of Karen. My prayers are for peace for Karen & strength for Rayna & Jamie! God Bless her & bring her rest.
We are holding you all close in our hearts and pray that you are able to focus on loving and joyful memories during this incredibly difficult time. We love you 💕

Whenever our families would be together, I was always touched by the love Karen had for her grandchildren. When Preston and Cooper were very small, I remember her patience and enjoyment as she put together a puzzle with them. I'm sure they will remember these sweet times as well. Karen was given the ultimate healing by God and now will be forever at peace. Condolences to Rayna and Jamie.
Mommy I am just so lost without you. I keep thinking you will walk out of your room to tell us to keep it down and that we are vampires lol or tell Conner to please make you coffee. I miss you so much and love you to infinity and beyond. You truly were my world!
Karen had a brilliant memory. She could recall line by line favorite I Love Lucy and M.A.S.H. episodes with the best of them. For many years, she would always remember birthdays, anniversaries and other important dates and reach out with a call, a card, a gift just to make the day a little better.
Karen was always so kind to me and my children. I remember when she made me and her daughter Jaime matching dresses for Mickey’s not so scary Halloween party. I will miss her dearly.
