Karen's obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Karen Blake, who left us on January 11, 2025. Born on March 6, 1957, Karen brought rays of sunshine into this world with her kind and heartfelt personality. She will be forever remembered in our hearts.

Karen was a beloved member of her community and an active attendee at Snyder Bible Church, where she found solace and fostered deep friendships. She delighted in simple joys of life, with walking, enjoying coffee and lunch, and watching movies with her grandchildren being some of her favorite recreational activities.

Her love for her family was equal to her love for buttercream frosted sugar cookies and Dr. Pepper, her favorite food, and drink respectively. These simple pleasures brought her immense joy and she often shared these moments with her loved ones.

Karen is survived by her devoted husband, Stanley Blake, and their children, Beth Pfost, Danny Blake, and Mitch Blake who will forever cherish the memories created with her. Karen's mother, Mrs. Doris Chenoweth and her brothers, Dale and Troy Chenoweth, also share in this profound loss.

Karen was predeceased by her daughter, Lekell Blake, her son, Donny Blake, her father, James Chenoweth, and her brother, Carl Chenoweth. She was also predeceased by her brother, Earl Chenoweth, with whom she shared a special bond.

Karen's spirit, her warm smile, and her enduring love for her family will be deeply missed. Her beautiful and empathetic soul that touched us all will continue to live on in our memories. As we remember Karen, let us celebrate the wonderful life she led and the love she has left behind.
