Karen Bateman, born on September 14, 1959, in Corunna Michigan, passed away peacefully at home on January 27, 2025. A devoted mother and loving wife, Karen found her greatest joy in her family, which she treasured above all else.

Karen shared a beautiful life with her husband, Gerald Bateman. She cherished her three daughters, Lisa Bateman, Jennifer Oldrham, and Lindi Saylor, as well as her beloved grandchildren, Haley Saylor, Natalie Bobb, Hunter Oldrham , and Joseph Case. Her vibrant spirit and caring nature left a lasting impact on all who knew her.

Known for her good sense of humor and kind heart, Karen had a unique ability to bring joy to any gathering. She loved playing pool, tending to her garden, and enjoying fires under the stars. Her pride in her well-kept yard was evident, reflecting her dedication and passion for home and family.

She is survived by her cousin, Barbara Depeal, and her brother, Richard Sexton, and his wife, Jackie. Karen will be remembered for her warmth, laughter, and the love she shared with those around her.

Karen’s legacy lives on through the cherished memories she created with her family and friends. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.
