Kara's obituary

Kara Patton, 49, of Midlothian, Virginia, passed away on October 22, 2023. Born on September 30, 1974, in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, Kara was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother.

Kara dedicated her life to caring for others as a Registered Nurse at the Fluvanna Correctional Center for Women. Her compassionate nature and dedication to her work touched the lives of countless individuals under her care.

Kara's educational journey began at Midlothian High School, where she laid the foundation for her future success. She further pursued her passion for nursing at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she honed her skills and gained the knowledge necessary to make a difference in the lives of those she served.

Kara is survived by her mother, Rosemary Patton; father, Thomas Patton; brother, Jeffrey Patton; daughter, Dianna Adams; son, Dylan Adams; and grandson, Kasyn Hodges. Her love and support will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

In her spare time, Kara enjoyed spending quality moments with her loved ones, cherishing the laughter and joy they shared together. She had a warm and inviting presence that made everyone around her feel comfortable and cared for.

Kara Patton's passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew her. Her legacy of compassion, dedication, and love will forever be remembered. May she rest in peace, knowing the impact she made in the lives of others will never be forgotten.
