Born on April 9, 1989, Kandice lived her life radiating warmth, kindness, and honesty in every interaction. She was the beloved mother of KeMiyah Thomas and a sister of Lessie Cain, Samaria Lee also her only brother Terrance Lee Berry who survives her. The bond they shared was nothing less than extraordinary. Kandice was predeceased by her loving father, Lester Cain His memory in her heart was a guiding force in her life and her loving mother, Tonya Berry.

One of the most profound lessons Kandice imparted was the importance of self-love, irrespective of life's challenges. She believed that loving oneself is the first step in spreading love to others. Her commitment to this philosophy was an inspiration to everyone who knew her.
