Kameron's obituary
We sincerely appreciate you taking the time to read our story.
On December 17, 2023, we succumbed to the unimaginable loss of our beloved son, Kameron Mills. As we try to find comfort through this devastating and unexpected tragedy, we ask that you support the immediate family during these extremely difficult times.
Kameron was born on July 16, 1997, in Washington DC at Washington Hospital Center, to Yolanda Reynolds (passed) and Sherman Fauntleroy. Kameron attended schools in DC, Virginia and Maryland. Kameron was raised in a loving God fearing home with his Mother, Step-Father and siblings. Yolanda Reynolds (Mom) passed away in his senior year of high school. She was everything to Kameron and he took her passing very hard. After graduating high school in Maryland he went to live with his Dad, Step-Mother and siblings. He later moved out on his own to be more independent and closer to his new job as a salaried chef. He had an immense passion for music, basketball, sheltering stray animals and cooking that led him to becoming a phenomenal chef. He was an extremely hard worker and moved up the ranks in many restaurant kitchens until he recognized his dream of becoming a head chef and caterer. Kameron also spent much of his time doing his passion which was rapping and recording music. He would visit water and nature a lot due to him actively seeking peace and serenity. He was deeply admired by his friends who would often fellowship with him for words of encouragement.
We cannot express our gratitude enough to those of you who knew Kameron and loved him just as much as we did. His beautiful smile would light up any room. He was kind, caring, loving and loved his family fiercely. Kameron was adored and admired by many, and our love for him will remain in our hearts forever!
Kameron is Pre-deceased by Mother, Yolanda Reynolds, Grandfather’s Sherman Fauntleroy, Stephen Baker and David Graham. Kameron is survived by his father, Sherman Fauntleroy, Step-Father William Reynolds, Step-Mother Stephanie Fauntleroy, siblings Avion Mills, Christian Reynolds, Sanai Fauntleroy, Dajhon Johnson and Jahlani Jackson, Grandparents Elaine Waters, Reaner Graham, Lauren Reynolds and Charles Reynolds (Gwendolyn), Deborah Gerald (Jimmy), immediate Aunts and Uncles Michelle Dixon, Antoinette Jackson Demetrius, Antoine Jackson, Juanita Jackson, Veronica Jackson, Tantiana Carter-Mcgahee, Deneen Batts, Carla Colson, John Henry, Stephanie Fulcher, Brad Smith, Trina Smith, Timothy Smith and a host of cousins, extended family and friends.
