Although I didn't run into Kaila much, she was one of the first people I did Parkour with back in 2012. She moved with such grace and confidence, that I looked to her as one of many guides early in my movement journey.

Kaila posted this video around the start of summer on her Instagram, the last reel on her profile. It is deeply, deeply beautiful.

May the Great Spirit bless and keep Kaila Raybuck.

Kaila I remember playing with you and Selah in Baldwinsville when we were neighbors! And visiting you and Selah in Buffalo with my brother Eric. Those were good times!

My dearest Kaila I loved you from the moment I met you. The few times we spent together you always were so sweet to me. The way you called me uncle Willy melted my heart. My sweet girl you were loved deeply and will always be missed. I will always hear your sweet voice call me uncle Willy... all my love..

I have so many great memories with Kaila growing up. From laugh attacks during Sunday school to choreographing ridiculous dance routines in my living room to attempting crazy trampoline stunts, we were always having fun when we were together. I appreciated how Kaila always made me feel like I mattered. More recently, I enjoyed exchanging memes over Instagram with her and reflecting on the more bizarre experiences from childhood. My heart breaks for her close friends and family. Her loss is felt by many and she will be dearly missed.
