Juno's obituary

Juno came to me when she was about 3 1/2 years old, just about the sweetest Australian Shepherd I have ever met. She was quiet and calm and loved everyone (everyone loved her, too). About a year later she was diagnosed with T-cell lymphoma. With the help of the awesome Oncology staff at Angell Animal Medical Center, her treatments gave us about two more years. However, due to her MDR1 status, she was not able to receive full doses of most chemotherapy drugs - I'm not sure that would have allowed her complete remission, but we might have had more time.

I'm thankful to Courtney Bell for entrusting me with her. Juna was the great-niece of my first Aussie, Fiesta, she was the grandpup of Fish (Fiesta's littermate & partner in mischief).
