Julius's obituary
With profound sorrow, we announce the death of Julius Powell, who passed away on July 1, 2025. Julius was born on February 24, 2000. Loved for his sweet heart, charm, and playful spirit, he brought laughter and joy to those around him.
A loving son, brother, cousin, and grandchild, Julius is survived by his parents, Star Page(Fred Page) and Garnett Powell; his siblings, Shiann Currie, Tylan Powell, Aaliyah Powell, Christopher Powell, Dante Powell, and Jermaine Powell; his beloved grandparents, Richard Smith and Bernice Perry; his treasured aunts and uncles, Kim Hodges, James Hodges, Richard Currie, and Willie Currie; and his dear cousins, Alasia Hodges, Darius Hodges, Nathan Hodges, Josiah Hodges, Maciah Hodges, Nina Currie, and Alex White.
A true, gentle-spirit who loved to nature; He was an avid fan of the Chicago Bulls and felt at home with a fishing rod in his hand or a video game controller. Julius loved the simple things in life, whether it was grilling BBQ, enjoying his favorite pasta, shooting pool with friends, or spending time lifting weights. He was a lover of good food and great company, and while he may no longer sit beside us in the physical company, he is forever beside us in spirit and in mind.
Described best as funny, warm-hearted, and playful, Julius's memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. As we remember Julius and celebrate the joy he brought into our lives, we invite you to join us in supporting his "Help Cover Remaining Ceremony Costs" fund at https://everloved.com/life-of….
In lieu of flowers, we ask that you consider contributing to this fund as a fitting tribute to Julius, who so loved and was loved by his family and friends. We will remember him for his sense of humor, generosity, and warmth, and his legacy will continue to inspire those who knew him. His loss leaves a void that can never be filled, but his spirit will forever remain alive in our memories.
