Julie's obituary
Julie, was a mother, wife, daughter, nurse, teacher, and friend. She was a very motherly woman and a majority of her students felt she was a mother figure to them. She leaves beyond two of her own children, Kate and Megan Kessler, and a daughter-in-law, Danielle. In addition to that, she leaves beyond a mother and husband, Leslie Hargett and Thomas Gest.
Her wish of being a grandmother did not become granted before her death, however, her future grandchildren will know what an amazing person she was. She was a dear friend to many and valued their friendships. On her down time, she loved traveling, attending weddings, talking with friends, or simply relaxing on the couch watching her favorite shows. A few of her other favorite things were getting a coffee, photography, and eating candy, especially: Raisinets and Mounds.
Julie, was an educator at heart and was very loved by her students. She was always thinking of how to improve her teaching for the benefit of her students, and had a way of relating to her students as well. She was an R.N. and a teacher, for high school students and newly graduated nurses. She loved teaching others and helping anyone in any way she could. In addition to that, she had a passion for learning and was in the process of receiving her PhD from the University of Texas at Tyler.
