Dear Angela,
I am so saddened to hear this news about Julie. [...]
Julie was one of my primary contacts and a truly wonderful, reliable, efficient, and forthright face of Babbletype. I know she will be greatly missed and while her function may be replaced, she will not. Julie was a real gem and a joy to work with.
Angela, in addition to my condolences to you and the Babbletype team, please pass along my sympathy to Julie’s family. I would appreciate that.
Respectfully,
Jeffrey J

Hi Angela for Babbletype: I am terribly sorry to hear of the death of Julie Ann Fullen. She and I worked on my interview transcripts for my book on expatriation with participants from all over the world, probably 1-3 or 4 years ago, and she was always there when I needed her . . . prompt, sensitive, responsive, and orchestrated great typed transcripts. A consummate and dependable manager.
This is a very sad news, and I am unhappy that lung cancer took such a lovely professional in the field of support for researchers.
Warmly,
Dr. Ava

On behalf of everyone at KJT, we want to share how deeply sad we are to hear of Julie’s passing. Please accept our sincere condolences.
Julie was an incredible partner for us over the past few years. She was exceptionally supportive and a wonderful extension of our team. We know this loss will be felt by our employees. She had the opportunity to work with so many people here. Babbletype has been a great partner for us, and Julie has been the rock for us.
Your note below was very touching and shows how impactful she was not only for Babbletype but for you personally.
The entire Babbletype family and Julie’s family will be in our thoughts. If there is anything that we can do to support you during this time, please do not hesitate to reach out.
With heartfelt condolences,

I am so sorry for your loss. Sometimes in this business we go many years with knowing someone even though it has all become so virtual, but we are all still part of the same large team in the end, so it truly saddened me to hear about Julie’s passing.
Sincere regards,
Diego

Hi Angela,
From my interactions with Julie, she seemed to be a caring person. She would send emails just to check on us here at CMC. Not just to see if we needed anything, but just to say hello. Small things that are seemingly unimportant make a difference.
My condolences to you and everyone who worked with Julie.

I am so very sorry to see this. I remember when I just started working in qual research and my dad (mentor!) told me to get in touch with Julie at MRT for transcripts. We would mail tapes back then! I never met Julie but always enjoyed working with her—so responsive and professional.
My deepest condolences. I’ll miss working with her.

This is so heartbreaking. I never actually met Julie, but I felt like I knew her. We really got on well and chatted quite a bit. We definitely connected on lots of things. She was so professional but also a very kind and funny person. I will miss her.
I am so sorry for your loss and will pray for her family. I know her husband passed a couple of years ago. Am thinking of her daughters at this time as well.
Appreciate you sharing this with us
Take care,

It’s been a while since I have worked with you all, but Julie was always checking in and lovely about it. She made a sales call about friendship not just business. Babbletype and your amazing group was personified in her kindness. Sending you all love … I’m so sorry.

I am so sorry to hear of Julie’s passing. I’m glad she didn’t have to endure an extended battle, and it sounds like she was able to live very fully until the end. I only knew her warmth and graciousness through our intermittent work communications- so I can only imagine what a tremendous loss all who knew her well must feel.
To her memory- we commit to being good to and for others.
Warmly,
Joyce

Over the few years that I had the opportunity to work with Babbletype, Julie was always spot-on with fulfilling what TecEd needed. Julie was very professional with an engaging personality and was a calm problem solver should something come up. It was always a pleasure working with Julie, and we always knew that our project translation needs would be executed beautifully - no worries.
I send light, love and peace to her family, co-workers and friends.
