Julie Brock Artis, 74, a 20-year resident of Culpeper, passed away on October 19, 2023 from medical complications. As she took her last breath, she was surrounded by her loved ones and the phenomenal nurses of Fair Oaks Hospital. Born in Houston, TX, she was a 35-year special education teacher and flutist in a local orchestra, always putting others before herself. Although unexpected events took her from this world too soon, her loving heart left …
