Juliana's obituary

Juliana Marie Soto, lovingly known as Juls, passed away on March 23, 2026, in Tacoma, Washington, at the age of 58. She was born on February 12, 1968, in Van Nuys, California, and from the very beginning carried a spirit that was bold, loyal, and unmistakably her own.

Juls is survived by her mother, Yvonne; her children, Samantha and Joshua (Tiffani); her former spouse, Floyd, and his wife, Linda; her beloved granddaughter, Kahlia; her sister, Andrea; her brother, Criston; and her aunt, Yonie. Her family was the center of her world, and she poured her heart into every relationship she held dear.

She was known for her fierce love of family, her passion for politics and social issues, and her unwavering belief in standing up for what mattered. She adored spending time with her granddaughter, cherishing every moment she could. Juls also took great pride in her work, finding purpose and joy in the job she loved.

Her personality was vibrant and unforgettable. She had an ever-lasting devotion to Prince, a competitive streak when it came to playing Zelda, and a special affection for her Mazda that made everyone smile. These joys, big and small, painted the picture of a woman who embraced life with enthusiasm and authenticity.

Arrangements for a memorial service are pending and will be announced at a later time.

Juls will be remembered for her strength, her humor, her convictions, and the love she gave so freely. Her presence will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
