My heart hurts for all of you. He definitely lit up a room with joy. I remember him when he was small. I wish I would have seen him more as he got older, but I know you all moved.  Please let me know if we can do anything for you. We are praying hard for everyone. Our fathers will take care of him in Heaven.

Owen and I were so saddened to hear of Julian’s passing.  Our hearts hurt for his loss and for his family and friends.  We extend our deepest sympathy and condolences to all who knew and loved him.

Schalk family,

I am so terribly sorry for your loss. I never had the pleasure of meeting Julian, but I can just tell from his obituary and pictures that he was such a fun, bright light in this world that has sadly gone too soon. My deepest sympathies and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

My heart is so broken for everyone. I will always remember Julian with that great big smile he always had. The room lit up when he walked in that is for sure. I know Julian is with his Grandpa and his Uncle Tony, as well as Grandma Celeste and Uncle Joe, all together having some Lata Via.

Julian was such a kindhearted, friendly, welcoming soul who made everyone he knew feel loved. May he and all who loved him find peace in this time. We were all better for knowing Julian.
