I was 13 when I met Julia. She and my brother welcomed me into their home for the weekend. She made her delicious puffed pancakes recipe with strawberries and homemade whipped cream. Yum! I was hooked on it with my first bite. We enjoyed great conversation that evening. And before bed, she started reading one of her favorite books. I love to read, and was happy to have met a fellow book worm. She graciously shared a book with me to read and keep. Such a thoughtful thing to do for a younger sister in law! It’s a fond memory. 💜
