Julia Johnson-Berry, a loving and devoted matriarch, was born on November 23, 1929, and passed away on May 14, 2023. She is remembered as a warm, caring, and compassionate person who had a heart of pure gold. Julia was a great teacher at life, imparting invaluable lessons to her family and friends during her time on earth.
Julia was predeceased by her husband, John Berry; her son, John Berry Jr.; her daughter, Elaine Johnson; her grandson, Leonard Miles Jr.; and her grandchild, Nicole Johnson. She is survived by her daughters, Karen Owens, Deborah Curtis, Judith Toney, Brenda Johnson, Linda Johnson, and Delma Brown; her son, Shawn Berry; and her granddaughters, Kenyada Johnson and Myra Johnson.
Throughout her life, Julia enjoyed a variety of hobbies and interests. She loved puzzle books, which she found both entertaining and intellectually stimulating. She was a dedicated fan of the television show Young And The Restless, and she spent countless hours with her family, cherishing the time spent together. Her favorite recreational activities included puzzle books and family time, which provided her with great joy and lasting memories.
Julia's warm and loving personality endeared her to all who knew her. She was known for her devotion to her family and for the kindness and compassion she showed to others. Her lessons in life will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her, and her legacy will live on through her loved ones.
