Julia Ann Grubb (née Sawyer)

Julia Ann Grubb passed away unexpectedly on March 19, 2025, following a tragic accident. Her life was marked by love, resilience, and joy, and her absence leaves a deep void in the hearts of those who knew her.

Born in Monroe County, Indiana, on September 6, 1966, to Ron Sawyer and Mona Scott, Julia—known affectionately as Julie—was a beacon of warmth and positivity. She was known for her infectious laugh, uplifting spirit, and the joy she brought to every room she entered.

Julie is survived by her two sons, Jacob Grubb (married to Rachael Grubb) and Nicholas Grubb. She was a devoted grandmother to Arabelle and Eliana Grubb, cherishing every moment spent with them. Julie also leaves behind her brother, Eric Devine, and his wife, Terri Devine.

For the past 20 years, Julie shared her life with her beloved companion, Josh Morse. Their enduring relationship was a testament to love and commitment. She also embraced Josh's children—Joshua, Olivia, and Brandon Morse—as part of her extended family.

In her later years, Julie selflessly cared for her mother, Mona, demonstrating her deep devotion to family. Though she faced significant challenges earlier in life, Julie’s journey was one of redemption, marked by healing and the restoration of cherished relationships. May her memory inspire compassion and understanding in us all.
