Julie's obituary

On September 2, 2022, Julia A Godwin (nee Calderwood) was called home to be with God.

Born in 1950 to Harry and Alice Calderwood, Julie was the oldest of 4 siblings. In 1970 she married the love of her life, Allen, and had 1 daughter, Lalah.

Julie was a strong woman, who took what life threw at her and fought through her struggles. She loved her family, was of strong faith in God, and did what she could to help others. She got to see a lifelong wish come true when she was able to pet a tiger cub. She loved to keep busy, and spent many years helping out senior ladies by taking them to appointments and shopping.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, boyfriend Ron, and sister/best friend Shirley. May they welcome her with open arms. She leaves behind brothers Harry and Leo, daughter Lalah and son-in-law Dan, and many nieces and nephews. May her body be whole, and her heart and mind be at peace.
