Julia's obituary

Julia Elizabeth Blackmon (Wrench)

December 19th, 1958- June 26th, 2023

Julia passed away in her sleep on Monday the 26th in her sons home in McRae, Arkansas.

We humbly recognize that her journey here has come to an end, but her memory will live on through all that loved her. Julia is survived by her five children and grands, and her brothers Bruce and Frank and their families.

She was a woman of great humility and respect for all. She was blessed with a family that she loved deeply and was always grateful for the time she spent with them. Our mother was amazing, loving and the most caring woman that protected her children in times of need. As children our mother was always there for us anytime we had a bump or scrape or in need of help.

My favorite memory of my mama was every year on our birthdays she would spoil us in ways only she could. We would get to pick out what we wanted to have for our supper and also the kind of cake we would like to have. She would work all day in the kitchen while we were at school to get it ready for us before we got home to surprise us. Mama always was an amazing cook and we were always welcomed to be the taste testers.

Mama would read to us as children at bedtime the new books that we wanted to hear her read is and she was there for us when we were sick and would make us chicken noodle soup because it made us all better.

Mama is survived by her five children and also her five grandchildren:

Kenny Wrench is her bonus son who is married to Bri and they together have a daughter named Emma. Savannah who is married to Jason Gaines and they together have two sons, Kaedian and Korbyn. Stefan who is married to Michelle and they have together a son named Jax. Cierra who is married to Shane McGowan and they have together a daughter named Ruby Rose. And Julia’s youngest son named Canaan.

I am very happy that my mama got to see my brother and sister as well as myself get married and she got to have a a few years well spent with her grands. I wish it were longer, but I am very glad my mama got to be there for us.

We will all miss our mama, but we are thankful that she is a peace and is finally resting. We will see her again. For now we will have our great memories of her and live on in the way that she raised us.

We love you mama,

Your loving children and sweet lil grands.
