I chuckle when I think about how Jules called me a “fake Haitian” on a couple of occasions. 😂 One, because as a Haitian-American, I don’t speak Creole. And two, on top of that, I can’t dance Kompa!! Jules could do both like no other, hands down. His sense of humor and wit will be missed by everyone.

It's probably too late for me to learn the language, but I vow to learn some Kompa dance moves in his memory. ❤️
