Update from Aug. 6, 2024

On the one year anniversary of our mother's passing, July 29, 2024, our family gathered at her "happy place" and honored her final wish to be brought back to the Outer Banks, North Carolina, specifically Hatteras. We had a sea burial ceremony which was as beautiful as our mom and while there were many tears, there was laughter too - exactly like mom would have wanted. As mom always said "When I go - I don't want anyone boo hooing over my casket. I want a party!" We hope we made you proud mom!

Our mom can finally rest at peace at her favorite place in the world, Cape Hatteras.

Obituary

Judy K Sievert, age 64, loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Ride Captain for Patriot Guard of Yuma, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 29, 2023.

Judy was born September 14, 1958 to George and Loretta Stanford in Bradford, Pennsylvania. She graduated Bradford Area High School in 1976, followed with a BSN nursing degree from Villa Maria College in Erie. She had a long career introducing lives as a Labor and Delivery Nurse along …
