Judy's obituary
Judy Louise Liberto (Jeffcoat)
July 28, 1958 – November 9, 2025
Judy Louise Liberto (Jeffcoat), 67, of Bowmansville, NY, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with dementia and a possible cancerous tumor discovered shortly before her passing.
Judy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and caretaker whose compassion knew no limits. A dedicated nurse, she devoted her career and much of her life to caring for others. Whether with family, friends, or strangers, Judy had a gift for making people feel seen, comforted, and loved—always putting others before herself.
She loved her people passionately. Nothing lit her up more than sharing meaningful moments with her family and those she loved. She cherished deep conversations and laughter that carried long into the night. Whether at home or on a long drive with the windows down, she found joy in the music she loved and the memories made through it. Her presence filled every room with kindness, humor, and light.
For 42 years, Judy shared her life with her husband, Ronald Michael Liberto, whose love and care for her never wavered. Even as her health declined, Ron made sure she continued to feel included, valued, and connected to the world around her—a true reflection of the love they built together.
She is survived by her mother, Shirley Tonner; her beloved husband, Ron; her children, David (Laura), Chris, and Alicia (Mike); and her cherished grandchildren, Ella, Jake, Everett, Luke, and Emorie. Judy is also survived by her brothers and sisters—Horace, Debbie, Teri, Neva, Taylor, and Clifford—who will forever remember her laughter, warmth, and heart.
Judy will be remembered for her strength, generosity, and unwavering love for her family. Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched and the love she leaves behind.
A memorial service will be held at a later date to celebrate Judy’s life.
