Judy Griffin, age 74, of Waskom, Texas, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2026. She was born on May 28, 1951.

Judy was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, and cherished great-grandmother. She dedicated her life to her family, always putting their needs before her own. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering love created a legacy that will live on through those who knew her best.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Gene Griffin; her children, Sherrie Schocken, Kevin Griffin, and Gene Griffin Jr.; her grandchildren, Tony Griffin, Tyler Griffin, Cody Griffin, and Candace Combs; and her great-grandchildren, Tucker Griffin, CJ Combs, and Nya Combs.

Judy made her home in Waskom, Texas, where she built a life full of love, faith, and lasting memories with her family and friends.

A visitation will be held on April 29, 2026, at Downs Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place on April 30, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Faith Baptist Church in Waskom, Texas. A graveside service will immediately follow at Hill Crest Memorial.

Judy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her spirit and the love she shared will forever remain in the hearts of her family.
