Judith's obituary
We regretfully announce the passing of Judith Yudico of Lakeside, CA on September 12, 2024. Judith was surrounded by her family and passed away peacefully.
Judith was brought into this world on November 21, 1939, to Robert and Betty Hendricks.
After graduating from CAL STATE Northridge with a Bachelors and then went on to UCLA and graduated with a Masters
Judy dedicated her life to service and made difference in people’s lives. She worked 20 years for the state of California and then another 10 years for the federal government as a Program Specialist and in the U.S. Department of Agriculture Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) and Fema. She implemented a program that utilized EBT cards instead of Food Stamps and then she went around and trained various places for her project that is still in place today and for Fema she traveled around to disasters around our country as soon as they were declared a national emergency. She worked at many fires here in San Diego County. She did the LA riots she’s done hurricanes, and even something in Guam. She was very active in her life and was of service her entire life. She retired in 2004 to enjoy time with her family..
She was married to Frank Yudico for 13 years and has 2 children, Jim Yudico her oldest son passed away in 2020 and a daughter GINA NORDICK 62 of lakeside.
She has three grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
Judith requested no services be held and that her ashes be spread.
