Judith's obituary
We sadly announce the passing of Judith Sharp, a pillar of strength and wisdom, on April 30, 2024. She was born on September 12, 1938, an autumn blossom that grew to be a remarkable woman.
Judith held an esteemed PhD in Psychology, a feat she earnestly achieved in 1989 from San Francisco, CA. This accomplishment was a profound testament to her dedication and love for knowledge. Her wisdom and understanding brought comfort and guidance to many lives that crossed her path.
She was a woman of diverse interests, enjoying the tranquility of hiking, savoring the joy of reading, indulging in the excitement of football games, and loving the thrill of traveling. As a doting grandmother, her fondest memories were those spent visiting her grandchildren. Her spirit will continue to live on in her favorite vacation spots, Hawaii and the Bahamas, places that brought her joy and peace.
Judith leaves behind her loving spouse, Rudy Hoyos, with whom she shared many beautiful moments. She is survived by her sons, David and Michael Sharp, who were the pride of her life. Her love and teachings will continue to guide them.
She will forever be cherished by her grandchildren, Shelby Sharp-Black, Chloe Sharp, and Gregory Sharp, in whose hearts she instilled the spirit of adventure and the love for learning.
Judith was predeceased by her granddaughter, Amanda Sharp, whose memories carry a significant part of her legacy. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
As we mourn the loss of Judith, we also honor her life, her commitments, and her contributions. She was a beacon of light that illuminated many lives, and her legacy will forever be etched in the hearts and minds of those she left behind.
