Judith's obituary
Judy Halverson passed away peacefully on April 8, 2025, in Argyle, Texas, at the age of 93. Born on July 5, 1931, in Indianapolis, Indiana, Judy’s life was a tapestry woven with devotion to family and steadfast faith.
Her journey through nearly a century was marked by love that radiated outward—first to her children Gordon and his wife Vivian, and Louren and his wife Rebecca. That love blossomed further into the lives of her grandchildren: Edward and his wife Lisa, Darnell and his wife Christine, and Kalvin and his wife Anya. Judy’s legacy continues through 23 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren—each a living thread in the vibrant fabric of her family’s story.
Judy carried within her the quiet strength of remembrance. She held close the memory of her daughter Julianne, who preceded her in death. Also gone before her were her husbands—Gordon, Thomas, Mitchell, Frank, and Sam—each chapter of companionship etched into the heart she never ceased to open.
Guided by an unwavering faith in Jesus and a deep affection for those around her, Judy lived each day with intention. Her spirit nurtured generations; her presence offered comfort like sunlight filtering through stained glass—gentle yet enduring.
May Judy Halverson’s memory bring peace to those who knew her and continue to inspire love that spans lifetimes.
