Jude's obituary
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Jude Michel-Latimer, a beloved mother, daughter, and grandmother. Born on February 3, 1958, Jude left us too soon on September 19, 2023. She was a pillar of strength and love, known for her warm-hearted sarcasm, caring nature, and the unending kindness she extended to all fortunate to know her.
Jude is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Juoy Luzania, her mother, Gloria Santa Cruz, her granddaughter, Rosalie Murdock, and her son-in-law, Andrew Murdock. She is predeceased by her father, Efrain Cordova, and her grandparents, Jose and Kirina Robles.
After graduating from Douglas High School in 1976, Jude's lifelong passion for cooking led her to attend Le Cordon Bleu School for culinary arts. Her culinary skills, especially Mexican delicacies and International cuisine, were always a treat to her loved ones. The art of cooking was one of the many life lessons she enjoyed sharing with others.
Jude's love for music was evident in her favorite band, The Beatles, especially the song "Hey Jude." She loved watching TV shows like Grimm and The Masked Singer in her leisure time. Frequenting local spots like Legoland and her daughter's home in Orlando were among her favorite pastimes.
In 2018, she relocated to Auburndale, FL, where she spent peaceful years relaxing with family, cooking, and watching movies. She will be deeply missed by her pets: Tiggy, Lucky, and especially her dog, Pandora.
Her favorite color was black and Halloween was the highlight of her year. Her favorite drinks, Pepsi, Horchata, and Sweet Tea, will never taste the same without her sharing them.
Jude's legacy is one of acceptance and kindness, a testament to her beautiful soul. In lieu of flowers, funds are being raised for 'Help with end of life costs.' The love, memories, and laughter she shared with us will forever be cherished, and she will be deeply missed.
