Juanito Cruz was born on May 16, 1955, in Sta. Rita, Pampanga, Philippines to father Guillermo Cruz and mother Emilia Cruz. He attended Guagua National College and held a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance.

Juanits, fondly called by his friends, first saw Remedios Guanlao during a Holy Week procession in 1977 and married her in 1979. They welcomed three sons Merwin, Jayar, and Michael. His desire to provide a better future for his family led him to migrate in the United States in 1981.

In addition to his wife and sons, Juanito is survived by his brothers Manuel and Victorino and sisters Christina and Marcelina. Juanito was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Francisco and sister Pilar.

Juanito’s remains will be at Collins Funeral Home located at 500 University Blvd W, Silver Spring, MD 20901. The family will be there to welcome friends and relatives. Below are the schedules:
