Juanita Rose Turner, 96, went home to heaven on July 24th, 2021.
Born February 20, 1925 in Apperson, Oklahoma to her mother Cora Effie O'Leary and her father Jerry J. O'Leary. At 9 months old her family moved to Bellflower, California. She graduated from Excelsior High School in Norwalk. She enjoyed working as a telephone operator and was a real life Rosie the Riveter repairing ships and airplanes during WWII.
