Juanita's obituary

Juanita Rose Turner, 96, went home to heaven on July 24th, 2021.

Born February 20, 1925 in Apperson, Oklahoma to her mother Cora Effie O'Leary and her father Jerry J. O'Leary.  At 9 months old her family moved to Bellflower, California.  She graduated from Excelsior High School in Norwalk. She enjoyed working as a telephone operator and was a real life Rosie the Riveter repairing ships and airplanes during WWII. Her passion and love for Christ lead her on missionary journeys to El Salvador, Russia, and Belize. She found fun vacationing around the world. Her favorite pastime was playing board and card games with family and friends. Her greatest accomplishment was the family she left behind.

She married the late Roy Virgil Turner on May 21, 1949.  Loving mother of Wilma Rallo, Diana Jo Turner, and Steven Turner. Dear sister of the late Virgil O’Leary, Thelma Cnossen, Wilma Dunn, Naomi McCleod, Jerry O’Leary, and Thomas O’Leary. Treasured grandmother of Brian (Tina) Rallo, Brent (Shealean) Rallo, Brandon  (Alexis) Rallo, Stephanie (Matthew) McClain, and Amanda (Jason) Lintz. Beloved great-grandmother to Caleb Rallo, Carissa Rallo, Nathan Rallo, Tristan Rallo, Shane Rallo, Jarrett Rallo,  Payten Rallo, Autumn Lintz, Madison McClain, Jace Lintz, and Caden McClain.  She was the favorite aunt to many nieces and nephews.
