Nita's obituary
Surrounded by the embrace of her family, Juanita Bautista Ting, 87, passed away on March 5, 2024, after a sudden decline in her health. Nita, as she was fondly known, was born on June 15, 1936, in San Francisco, California to Juan and Consuelo Bautista and was the youngest of three children.
Nita's life was a testament to the values of love, generosity, and faith. She found immense joy in helping others and spreading kindness wherever she went. Nita delighted in various passions, but spending time with her family and friends was first and foremost. She will be missed more than any words could ever express and she will remain forever in our hearts.
Nita was a wonderful and beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. She is survived by her children, Bobby (Pinky) Ting, Patti (Arnold Tiosejo) Ting, Geri (George) Larracas, Reena (Jay) Muyargas, James (Jill) Ting; grandchildren, Dennis (Denise), Danielle (Erik), Niki, Miggy, Czarina, Chris, Jagger, Fiennes, Aubree, Apollo, Maya; and great-grandchildren, Diarra, Darielle, Drey, and Rhys.
Nita was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Ting, son, Danny Ting, her parents, and her siblings, Ernest Bautista and Adele Urbiztondo.
Let us not mourn Nita's loss but rejoice in the privilege of being touched by her extraordinary spirit. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 825 Seventh St., Rodeo, California 94547 on March 25, 2024 at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, Nita’s wish was for memorial contributions to be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church or the American Cancer Society.
