I cannot begin to tell you how devastated I am with the news that Nita has passed away. She was the most saintly person I have ever had in my life. We were friends for over thirty years while we worked at Ross. She cared about every person she knew and made it a point to keep in contact with them regularly. I spoke to her at the beginning of March and I knew she was not  doing well. I did most of the talking and all I asked of her was a yes response. I knew she had been in the hospital recently and I hoped she was recovering.

Since I retired from working at Ross and moved to Hawaii she and I corresponded regularly with phone calls, text messages and e mails. She was always worried about me. She made sure to send me birthday cards, Christmas cards and cards for all the Jewish holidays. I've kept every card she sent me.

Nita was the most unselfish person I have ever known. I felt privileged to have her as a friend. She never complained.

She will be welcomed in Heaven and be invited to sit at the feet of God. An angel most deserving of wings and a halo. I will miss her terribly.

I wish you all, the members of her family and her friends, comfort for loss. I know she will leave a hole in your lives and heart. I do feel she will,be watching over me.

God bless all of you. Please let her know how much I love her and miss her in your prayers.

yours most sincerely    Carol  Cantor  💔

You are in our prayers. Your friends and family at InspirTec
I met Nita when we were freshman at Star of the Sea Academy.  We both were in Sister Patricia Claire's homeroom, and before classes would begin , Nita and I would talk and laugh and share many stories about events in our lives.  At our 40th reunion,  Nita and I connected again, and the stories continued as if we were still in High School.  I have such fond memories of Nita.  Such a giving and loving soul.  I will never forget her.

Her devotion to God and her family. I admired her daily attendance of mass and was inspired by her prayer life. She kindly let me know that she was keeping my husband who is ill in her prayers. I will always appreciate dear Nita for her prayers.

Also, in our many conversations, she attended Star of the Sea high school in San Francisco, like my mother and aunt. This sparked a great familiar memory to me of all those I love who attended that high school Nita will always remain my shining star.
