Born in Caguas, Puerto Rico to Jose Rivera, a machinist/gunsmith and Ramona Mejias, a seamstress – and she was a proud mother of 4 daughters: Rosa Tirado, Grace Diaz Figueroa, Jackie DeJesus-Phojanakong, and Mayra DeJesus.
