Juanita's obituary
Juana, “Juanita” Rivera, 87, passed away on October 25, 2018. Born in Caguas, Puerto Rico to Jose Rivera, a machinist/gunsmith and Ramona Mejias, a seamstress – and she was a proud mother of 4 daughters: Rosa Tirado, Grace Diaz Figueroa, Jackie DeJesus-Phojanakong, and Mayra DeJesus. She is survived by her 4 daughters, 5 grandchildren, Jessica Rose, Daniel Joel, Pablo Luis, William Glenn, Christian Xavier, and 1 great grandchild, London Bianca.
She was a kind-hearted person, with strict views on all things proper, as well as, a free spirit. She lived a quiet life, where she would watch crime and law shows, and would read Christian books and would love to sing and listen to old music. She would love to debate and loved intellectual pursuits.
A private gathering will take place to honor her memory, and her remains will be scattered in nature, per her wishes. She would want the world to know that all she really wanted was a kind world, and to be loved by family and friends.
