Mama left quite a legacy of faith and trust in her fellow human beings. Her heart was so full of love to give. She outlived 3 husbands in her life, caring for them during their illnesses. Sadly, she also outlived all her dearest friends. Mama loved her roses she planted in honor of her family members. We were all better people for having her in our lives. She was my Mother, my defender and my friend, I will miss her with all my heart. Rest well Mama, you completed your guard of your family and we'll all be fine.

Juanita Sanchez Carter, 90, passed with family by her side on Monday October 7,2019. Juanita was born in Socorro Texas, on Thursday December 27, 1928. Her parents were Delores, a Choctaw Indian and Raymundo, a 2nd generation Spanish immigrant. Juanita grew up on a ranch outside El Paso , after the death of her mother and was raised by her maternal grandmother. From age 14 to age 20, Juanita traveled the United States working odd …

Mama will be cremated and her ashes given to each of the grandchildren , whom she loved with all her heart and soul. We will hold a private service for family only at my home on her birthday 12/27/19.
