As a University of Dallas Groundhog (well...Crusader), I vow to carry Juanita's charitable, unique personality in my heart and mind and bring it to others. Juanita was a very special person: her motivation and uniqueness marveled me. She had the light of Christ in her heart and was a faithful, dedicated young woman. May her soul rest in peace. Catalina and Leo and all the family, know that I am praying and thinking deeply of all of y'all.

"But, as it is written: That eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither hath it entered into the heart of man, what things God hath prepared for them that love him." -1 Cor. 2:9.

I am so very sorry for the loss of your beautiful Juanita. I was blessed to be her teacher, and I can truly say I learned more from her than she did from me. She showed me how to be kind, selfless, humble, and giving. She shared her love for Christ with everyone she encountered. Juanita, may your soul Rest In Peace. I send my love and prayers to the Boada family.

2021, Lifeguarding together this summer
Oh my gosh where do I even start? Juanita was such a beautiful soul to have known. Her laugh and her smile lit up the room and her good attitude to everything was always inspiring. I had only know her for about 2 months, but those short couple of months felt like I had known her for years. There was something about her that just made everyone around her feel comfortable and at peace. I will cherish the many laughs that we shared through lifeguarding together. Although death is always hard, I am so glad to know that she is safe and free in heaven with her Heavenly Father God. I cannot wait to see her again one day. You truly were a beautiful soul to meet Juanita and I know that everyone else felt the same way. 🤍

I am so sorry and saddened to hear of your loss. I have lifted your family in prayer and the students and staff of your school. May the Lord comfort you as only He knows how.
Dear Boada’s family,

We are deeply saddened about the lost of your daughter Juanita. May our Lord Jesus give you and your family strength during this tragic and difficult time.
Much love,
The Anderson family and St Anthony and Northwoods former classmate Matthew
Juanita was a very enthusiastic, intelligent, studious and responsible student, she was involved in many school and sport activities. She will often lead discussions in the classroom and she was always willing to help others. She always had a smile.
May God give strength of heart and faith to her family. May she Rest In Peace.
Cata, sabes que los queremos MUCHO!! No pude ir estos días a Houston, pero espero estar ahí en dos semanas. Un abrazo de aquí al cielo y de regreso!
