Juan Angel Scarpa, 79, of Lake Worth Beach, FL, passed away on May 05, 2024 after complications following a very recent cancer diagnosis.

Juan was born on 3/13/1945 to Hector Scarpa and Nelsa Prigola in Montevideo, Uruguay.  Juan is survived by his wife of 43 years, Lucila Scarpa, his children Angela Scarpa and Juan Carlos Scarpa, his grandchildren, Brian and Paisley, his sister, Myriam and family, and brother, Jorge and family.

Juan had a deep love for his family and friends.  He was courageous, having immigrated to the United States 60 years ago, bravely leaving his parents and siblings behind. He was passionate about his country, his beloved Uruguay, soccer, horse races, cards and cooking.  His empanadas were famous.  He will be dearly missed by his family, friends and loved ones.

There will be a memorial service held on 5/18/24 at 3pm (ET) at Quattlebaum Funeral, Cremation, and Event Center, located at 6411 Parker Ave., West Palm Beach, FL 33405.
