Juan's obituary

Juan Lara, 79, of Spring, TX, passed away on April 22, 2022 after a long battle with cancer.



Juan was born on February 1943 to Maria and Jose in Guanajuato, Mexico. In 1964, he met Margarita Sanchez, and they wed in 1966, going on to have 13 children, Antonio, Juan, Miguel, Fernando, Marcos, Santos, Patricia, Claudia, Angel, Elena, China, Leticia, and Lidia.


Juan was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to his than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of his family and always tried his best to support them.


Juan was also a passionate of his crops and could often be found planting on his land when he wasn’t at home.


Anyone who knew Juan knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for. The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to Rancho Los Laras in Cleveland, Texas. There will be a celebration of life at 5:00 pm on April 30th at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. His body will then be sent to his home town Guanajuato, Mexico to be put to rest.
