Obituary
Ju-Fen (官举芬) passed away on April 23, 2025 in Chengdu, China at the age of 94. She was born in Zigong, China on March 30, 1931. Ju-Fen studied geology at Northwest University in Xi’an where she met her future husband Wen-Jian Han (韩文健). After graduation, they worked for the Sichuan Petroleum Institute and were married in 1958. They surveyed remote mountainous areas of China from 1956 to 1973. They worked on separate teams from 1957-1971 …
