This hurts my heart. I worked with Chico on Team Mistfit in Afghanistan, where he shared many stories of his family, he was always professional, and was not one to back down on his religious beliefs. Chicos humor and genuine personality always held attention, but you knew he meant business when is First Sergeant voice came out. And, who knew… Chico was an amazing artist? I have always and will always consider Chico a friend, mentor, and comrade. To Chicos family, I extend my deepest sorrow and prayers. RLTW!

(2) Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. (3) His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowldeg of him - amen! . . . We are all blessed to have know such a wonderful, loving, and light-hearted human being. Jr. was always fun to be around. He was a brother to me! He always had me laughing since we were in grade school (first tour in Panama, CZ) and even into our teenage years at Cristobal High School (2nd tour in Panama, CZ). The last time I saw him was at our Class Reunion "81" in 2017. There he was with his beautiful and infectious smile . . . he was always the fun one !! He will be missed by all of us. I pray for his family for comfort and peace. Jr. lived a full life. I salute him for his courageous heart, service, bravery, and his beautifulspirit he had. Rest in peace Jr. - God bless you, your spirit lives on through each of us with our memories always- amen!! Love you always - Lena Sanchez Sweeney

My condolences to Chacón’s family. I first met Chacon when I was working as a Pre Ranger instructor at the 75th Ranger Regiment. He was a great Ranger to work with, he had a great sense of humor. I am in total disbelief that he passed away. May the good lord welcome him into his loving arms.

My condolences to Jr's family. I was fortunate to have known Jr while serving in A Co 3/75. He was originally a mentor and eventually a friend. I will never forget his infectious smile, passion for life, and his ability to inspire those who wanted to be like him. Thank you Jr. for setting a great example for many young Rangers and for all you sacrificed for our country. Rest easy my friend, until we meet again in that beautiful Patrol Base in the sky!

To the one reading this who knows what they did to Jr in his vulnerable state: time has a way of catching up with us all. His family will not be silent. Justice has a way of finding those who deserve it.
