“I’m Happy,” while flashing her beautiful, gentle smile, would be her reply each day after our morning “Hello,” and “How are you?”  A truly beautiful soul.  Thank you all your kindnesses, Joycelyn.  I miss you. Peace and Love, Beautiful Angel.

Theresa

Jocelyn was the kindest person I've met. She was always happy and encouraging to everyone. One day I wasn't myself and Jocelyn asked me if things were OK - I had just found out that my mom had been diagnosed with cancer. Jocelyn was so supportive and every time she saw me she genuinely asked how my mom was doing (she's doing well now and is in remission). Jocelyn was just a special person that was able to find joy in others. You are missed.

I was shocked and saddened to hear the news. What I remember best about Joycelyn is that she was so fun and bubbly. Always smiling and very kind. She was the type of person you wanted to be around. She could really brighten your day. She will be sorely missed.
I was very saddened to hear of Joycelyn’s passing, and want to extend my heartfelt condolences to all of her family and friends. I still remember the first time I met her, years ago, in J23. As always, she had a smile for everyone. She was truly full of life, and will be greatly missed.

Joycelyn was fearless, I admired her for being so brave. She would tackle it, if she was sincerely interested without any hesitation. I admired her for that.
In response to "What did you learn from Joycelyn?"
Joycelyn was one person whom we all know from day one to last day and she was one stop solution for anything and everything if need help in AbbVie Commercial area. She was one smiling face which always give +ve vibes in teams. She will be greatly missed and it's difficult to imagine office without her. It's great set back to all of us. I wish all the family member to have strength to pass through this difficult times. She will be in my prayers.
In response to "What act of kindness did you witness from Joycelyn?"
I am so sorry for your loss. It is a shock. Jocelyn was so wonderful to work with always going above and beyond to help anyone that needed it. It did not matter if you were in her area or not, she was always willing to go the extra mile! She will be truly missed.
So sorry to hear about Joycelyn's passing. I first met her a year ago when I first started at AbbVie. I knew no one, I didn't even know where to sit. Joycelyn took me under her wing, showed me around, got me what I needed to get going. She told me to come find her if I ever needed help. She was so kind and wonderful. The world is forever, less bright, without someone like her being in it. My deepest sympathies and condolences to her family
In response to "What made Joycelyn different from most people you know?"
I want Joycelyn’s family to know how truly she will be missed. A quick hallway encounter with Joycelyn was always a pick-me up. Some of the work-related things we did together could be tedious but because of her we always ended up smiling. Once we went remote in March we would regularly make each other laugh through instant message and email. I will miss her so much and have her family and friends in my thoughts at this difficult time.
Thank you for the laughs, the advice, the Invisalign lectures, the memories. I was lucky to meet a kind soul who brightened the room. Who stopped me at every cubicle passing. I will forever cherish and hold our bathroom conversations and SWAT agree to disagreements. My condolences to all of Jocelyn’s family and friends. Jocelyn you will forever be loved. <3
I am very sad to hear about Joycelyn, you will be deeply missed . Remember all your kindness and helpful nature , My deepest condolences to the family.
I am deeply saddened by this news. Joycelyn was so free-spirited and never switched up no matter who was in her presence. Thanks for the laughs, welcoming me with open arms, and the encouragement when I wanted to give up. You will be truly missed. To the family- I pray for peace that surpasses all understanding and let God be your strength.
Jocelyn brought warmth and kindness with her wherever she went, I always felt a little brighter after chatting with her. Jocelyn was my “Capricorn Sister” who always had a smile to share and is someone that I will always remember fondly, I am heartbroken to hear of her passing. My deepest condolences to the Jocelyn’s family and friends. My prayers and thoughts are with you during this difficult time.
My Prayers and Deepest Condolence to Joycelyn's family. She will be missed by everyone that knew her. She loved life, she was kind hearted, fun loving. She was no stranger to anyone she met. Her laughter lit up the room. I will definitely miss our emails and long conversations. Forever in my thoughts and heart.
I am so shocked, sad, and sorry to hear these news. I have known and worked with Joycelyn many years. she has always been joyful, helpful, friendly, and fun. I will miss her.
It is very rare to know someone who has a multitude of virtues, especially someone who is always looking to help others and who does it so joyfully! Joycelyn was one of these rarities and always looking to be helpful with her "Happy" face. I remember one such instance of her kindness where she had an "office gift" that she was waiting to give away and I was the fortunate person who she chose to offer that gift. Whether it was booking conference rooms, or helping with the various office logistics, Joycelyn was amazing! Thank you for making our day better by sharing your kindness and joy with us each day. Prayers and Thoughts with the Veals Family.
